Zhiibaahaasing First Nation needs a reliable Custodian for part time work to uphold cleanliness and safety standards. Engage in cleaning duties 10-15 hours weekly, Monday through Friday.
As a Custodian, your focus will be on maintaining the Band Office and complex’s sanitization through cleaning tasks and minor maintenance. Your expertise in cleaning techniques will ensure a healthy and organized work environment for all staff and visitors. This role is ideal for those who can work independently and adhere to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform general cleaning activities like dusting and vacuuming
• Clean and maintain restrooms, kitchens, and shared spaces
• Implement deep cleaning after events and monthly




• Keep inventory of cleaning supplies and request replacements
• Ensure safety by reporting hazards promptly
Requirements:
• Previous cleaning and maintenance experience required
• Familiarity with WHMIS considered an asset
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly
• Capacity to work independently and efficiently
