College is seeking a temporary instructor for the Canadian Studies 1110 course: American Power in Canada. This position involves teaching students about the complexities of Canada-U.S. relations and developing course materials. Candidates must be available for in-person classes on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:30-14:20, beginning September 1, 2026, until the end of the year. Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Canadian Studies 1110 course to students
- Create and assign lecture materials and projects
- Conduct thorough grading and feedback
- Attend Canadian Studies program meetings
- Stay informed about contemporary U.S.-Canada issues
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree or PhD in relevant field is mandatory
- Expertise in current Canada-U.S. political dynamics
- Prior teaching experience is highly desired
- Comfort with Brightspace and teaching technologies
- Active participation in program initiatives
