Ancient Dunes is seeking an energetic, reliable individual or couple to join our team in beautiful Masset, Haida Gwaii. This is an exciting opportunity to live and work on a private oceanfront property while helping care for one of Haida Gwaii's newest luxury eco-accommodations.

This is a long-term, year-round opportunity for an individual or couple looking to establish themselves in Haida Gwaii and grow alongside the business.

Position Start Date

This position has an anticipated start date of October 15, 2026.

We are looking for an individual or couple interested in becoming a valued, long-term part of Ancient Dunes. As the business continues to grow and expand, there will be opportunities for increased responsibilities, additional hours, and professional growth for the right candidate(s).

Compensation

- $24.00-$30.00 per hour, based on experience and skill set. Subsidized, fully furnished on-site accommodation available. Hours vary considerably throughout the year based on occupancy and operational requirements.

Accommodation & Contractual Relationship The successful candidate(s) will enter into separate contractor and accommodation agreements prior to commencing the role. The fully furnished on-site accommodation is provided exclusively in conjunction with this opportunity and is available only while the successful candidate(s) continue to fulfill the terms of their agreement(s) with Ancient Dunes.

The accommodation is offered at a subsidized rental rate of $800 per month, plus propane. A security/damage deposit is required prior to move-in.

Occupancy is limited to a maximum of two persons. Due to the nature of the accommodation and operation, children and pets cannot be accommodated.

Summer is the busy season and typically offers significantly higher hours,



while winter hours are substantially lower. Applicants should be comfortable with a variable workload and schedule throughout the year.

Continued occupancy of the accommodation is contingent upon compliance with the contractor and accommodation agreements. Full contract details will be provided to the successful candidate(s) prior to commencement.

Included Accommodation The successful candidate(s) will have access to a fully furnished, fully equipped and move-in-ready 2022, 33-foot travel trailer, featuring:

- Private master bedroom Two additional beds One full bathroom Indoor kitchen Outdoor kitchen Furniture, cookware, kitchen essentials and household necessities Wi-Fi included Electricity and utilities included Propane is the responsibility of the occupant

Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Cleaning and preparing all three luxury geodesic domes between guest stays Scheduled deep cleaning of the domes Washing, drying and folding guest linens and towels Refilling and exchanging propane tanks Weekly garbage and recycling removal Cleaning site/rental vehicles between rentals Monitoring water, filtration and septic systems Guest airport pick-up and drop-off,



along with occasional additional transportation as required Occasional guest interaction - the property is designed primarily for independent self check-in and self check-out General property maintenance and seasonal site upkeep Identifying and completing minor repairs where appropriate General property and site clean-up Helping maintain the exceptional standards expected of a luxury accommodation

Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who:
- Takes exceptional pride in cleanliness and has outstanding attention to detail Is organized, dependable and self-motivated Is comfortable working independently and taking initiative Has previous experience in hospitality, housekeeping, property management, caretaking or a similar role Has general maintenance and repair knowledge or experience - considered a strong asset Holds a valid driver's licence Is comfortable with the seasonal fluctuations in workload Enjoys living in a peaceful and remote environment

Exceptional standards of cleanliness are paramount to this position. Couples are encouraged to apply where both individuals are interested in contributing to the operation. Maximum occupancy of the provided accommodation remains two persons.
