Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter and helper to join our team in constructing a high-quality agricultural building, specifically a horse stable. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a vital project that supports sustainable farming and equine care. As a Carpenter specializing in agricultural structures, you will be responsible for transforming detailed blueprints into durable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing horse stables.

Your expertise will ensure that the building meets safety standards, withstands environmental elements, and provides a comfortable environment for horses. This paid position is ideal for someone passionate about craftsmanship, construction, and contributing to the agricultural community.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to guide the building process.
- Construct and assemble wooden frameworks, walls, doors, windows, stalls, and roofing components using hand tools and power tools.
- Install metal roof and siding
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, schematics, and building codes specific to agricultural structures.




- Maintain a clean work environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently throughout each project phase
- Proven construction experience with a focus on carpentry or woodworking in agricultural or similar settings.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings confidently.
- Understanding of plumbing and electrical systems relevant to farm buildings.
- Demonstrated ability to lift heavy materials safely and work at heights on scaffolding or roofing structures.

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour

Experience

- Wood Frame and Metal Clad Agricultural Buildings : 5 years (preferred)
