Position: Carpenter – Journeyperson / Apprentice

Wage: $35 - $45/ hr

Datoff Construction is a long-standing General Contractor in Northern B.C. We bring pride in our projects and enjoy a lively work environment. We work in Commercial, Civil, and Industrial Construction and are seeking experienced Carpenters and Carpenter Apprentices.

Responsibilities:

- Knowledgeable in building code and construction math
- Experience in preparing material take-offs and reading blueprints
- Assist with demolition and debris removal
- Erecting and disassembling scaffolding
- Experience in wood and steel stud framing application
- Experience in finish carpentry skills
- Effectively communicate job site conditions and concerns that may affect the completion of a job
- Practice workplace safety

Qualifications:

- 2 + years’ experience in construction




- Knowledgeable in the use and application of tools and materials for job completion
- Ability to work well with a team and on your own
- Ability to communicate and interact both verbally and in writing
- A keen eye for detail and positive decision-making
- Ability to complete work projects on time and in an effective manner
- Ability to take and follow instructions from supervisor
