Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Framer to join our agile construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures using a variety of hand and power tools. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life, ensuring safety, quality, and precision in every project.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential to commercial builds, with a focus on craftsmanship and efficiency.

Duties

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute framing and carpentry tasks
- Construct and install framing components for walls, floors, roofs, and other structural elements using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment as needed
- Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks to create durable foundations and structural supports
- Install siding, trim, doors, windows, and other finishing carpentry elements with precision
- Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts or cranes safely to move materials around the job site
- Conduct restoration work on existing structures, ensuring repairs meet safety standards and aesthetic expectations




- Use welding techniques when necessary for structural reinforcement or custom fabrication projects

Experience

- Proven construction experience with a strong background in carpentry or framing roles
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Skilled in the use of hand tools (hammers, saws, chisels), power tools (drills, saws), and woodworking equipment
- Experience with concrete forming and finishing processes
- Knowledge of siding installation techniques and exterior finishing work
- Familiarity with heavy lifting procedures and safety protocols for heavy equipment operation
- Basic welding skills are preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is valued
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions throughout the project lifecycle
