Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile carpenter or skilled labourer to join our agile construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including commercial builds, utilizing your hands-on skills and technical knowledge. As a vital member of our crew, you will contribute to high-quality craftsmanship, ensure safety standards are met, and help bring construction visions to life.

Duties

- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction tasks
- Assist with skilled trades including plumbers and electricians
- Perform carpentry and woodworking tasks, including steel and wood framing
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and efficiently
- Contribute to any trade work on site
- Handle heavy lifting and material handling with proper techniques to maintain safety standards
- Support plumbing, electrical work, caulking, flooring installation, and construction painting as needed
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials regularly

Qualifications





- Proven construction experience with a strong understanding of building practices and safety protocols
- Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical documentation
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, woodworking
- Knowledge of plumbing systems and electrical wiring is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work effectively at heights or in confined spaces
- Handyman experience or general maintenance skills are advantageous
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
- Excellent teamwork attitude with effective communication skills
- Air brakes Q endorsement is a plus

Starting wage between $25-40/hr depending on skill and if you have an active apprenticeship or trade ticket. 2 Full time positions available. Travel within Alberta required as some job sites are outside of edmonton. All travel is paid for and company vehicles are provided for any long distance travel. Pay: $25.00-$50.00 per hour
