Covenant House seeks a dedicated Case Manager for its Thrive Newcomer Program, focused on empowering youth from diverse backgrounds. This full time, permanent role is based on-site and offers a chance to make a profound difference. In this leadership position, you will oversee case management efforts for newcomer youth facing various challenges.
Your knowledge in legal and settlement services will enhance your ability to guide vulnerable youth effectively. Collaborating closely with young individuals will enable you to tailor support plans to their unique experiences and socio-cultural contexts. Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with youth and develop tailored case management
- Assess risks and create effective safety plans
- Provide mentorship to team members in case management
- Complete professional documentation in line with OCSWSSW standards
- Facilitate referrals to essential services for youth Requirements:
- BSW or MSW degree with 5 years of relevant experience
- Good standing registration with OCSWSSW
- Preferred experience with refugee youth
- Insight into immigration-related vulnerabilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills for advocacy Help youth thrive and overcome barriers at Covenant House through this impactful case management position.
