The Lunchbox Eatery will be offering breakfast and lunch service for the school community at Lindsay Thurber High School. This job is ideal for someone looking to work primarily school hours and will allow you to still be there to pick up your kid at the end of the day. You will need to be available from 7-3 for school days.

Occasional weekend work will be available for special events held at the school. Additional the hours will follow the public school calander so PD days and holidays (Christmas, Easter, reading break and summer) you will have off.

Duties

-Bake, buns, muffins, cookies and squares for the Cafeteria

-Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and food safety guidelines

- Ensure that all food items are properly stored, labeled, and rotated
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and execute menu items
- Monitor food inventory and place orders as needed
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a cook/Baker or in a similar role
- Knowledge of food handling, food service, and food preparation techniques




- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a kitchen setting
