Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle cash and operate a Point of Sale (POS) system effectively. A positive attitude and the ability to work in a rapid-paced environment are essential for success in this position. Expected hours are 8-12 hours per week.

Duties

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases.
- Accurately process transactions using the POS system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions securely and efficiently.
- Maintain an organized and clean checkout area.
- Provide product information and answer customer inquiries.
- Sell additional products or services to enhance customer experience.
- Manage time effectively to minimize wait times for customers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies regarding cash handling and security.




- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

- Previous cashiering or sales experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and handling cash accurately.
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Strong phone etiquette for customer interactions over the phone.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $15.90 per hour
