Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with their orders in a friendly, skilled manner
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system, including Micros POS, to accurately process payments and handle cash transactions
- Manage cash handling procedures with precision, ensuring correct change is given and transactions are recorded properly
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the cashier area and dining space in accordance with food safety regulations
- Support food preparation and food handling tasks as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with serving and cashiering roles is a plus
- Experience with POS systems, especially Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
