Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)

As a valued member of our RPN team, you will provide care to residents in accordance with the standards of practice and offer leadership and guidance to the personal care staff.

This position is for our Trillium Court Retirement Home, located in 550 Philip Place Kincardine, Ontario.

Available shifts: Temporary Part-time Nights, Part-time Evenings, and Casual.

What you’ll be doing

- Develop, implement, review and evaluate resident care plans
- Provide leadership to personal care staff by planning, directing, supervising and evaluating their work
- Assist in orienting and training current team members

What you bring

- Current registration with provincial College of Nurses
- Compassion, professionalism, and respect
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
- Strong written and oral communication, critical thinking, care coordination,



time management and customer focus skills
- Maintain competencies as per governing College standards
- Computer skills and Microsoft Office applications
- Current (within 6 months) Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening (VPS)

Compensation Details

Salary: $26.87 - $31.18 per hour, as per collective agreement.
