Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our retail team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our customers, managing transactions efficiently, and creating a welcoming shopping environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be organized, and have a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Bilingual abilities and experience with technology sales or product demos are considered valuable assets.

Duties

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases
- Operate the POS system accurately for cash handling and credit transactions
- Manage product merchandising and ensure shelves are well-stocked and organized
- Conduct product demonstrations and provide information on features to enhance sales opportunities
- Upsell relevant products and services to meet customer needs
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area




- Assist in inventory management and restocking as needed
- Ensure efficient time management during peak hours to minimize wait times

Skills

- Strong customer service skills with excellent communication and phone etiquette
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and change calculations
- Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of retail sales, merchandising, and upselling techniques
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities (English required; additional languages are a plus)
- Technical sales experience, including product demos or technology sales, is advantageous
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Time management skills to prioritize duties effectively during busy periods
- Ability to work well within a team and adapt quickly to changing priorities

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Pay: $17.20-$26.74 per hour
