Duties

- Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs in a friendly, professional manner
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process cash, credit/debit card transactions, and handle cash handling duties with precision
- Provide product demos and explain features to customers, especially for technology or retail items requiring technical knowledge
- Upsell products and services by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable options to enhance their experience
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing products on shelves, ensuring displays are attractive and well-stocked
- Manage customer inquiries via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Handle basic math calculations for transactions, returns, or exchanges efficiently while maintaining organizational skills for record keeping




- Ensure adherence to store policies regarding cash handling, security procedures, and customer service standards

Qualifications

- Fluency in English; bilingual abilities are a strong plus for serving diverse communities
- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred; technical sales experience is advantageous
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively and professionally
- Demonstrated organizational skills and time management to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Basic math proficiency for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Experience with POS systems, merchandising, and customer service best practices
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
