Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Casual Early Childhood Educator to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities

- Create engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Support children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or additional assistance.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and specialists to ensure cohesive care and education plans.
- Assist in implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) for children with disabilities or special needs.
- Use computer skills to document daily observations, attendance records, and developmental progress reports.
- Manage classroom routines efficiently while demonstrating strong time management and organizational skills.




- Lead by example in demonstrating leadership qualities and positive behavior management strategies.

Experience

- Previous experience working with young children in early childhood education settings or childcare centers is preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education environments is highly valued.
- Bilingual abilities in English and French are considered an asset to support diverse communities.
- Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with families and team members effectively.
- Familiarity with classroom technology, computer operation, and documentation tools is advantageous.
- Proven organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining high standards of care.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
