Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the dental practice's daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a thorough understanding of dental procedures, and the ability to work effectively with both patients and staff in a quick-paced environment.

Duties

- Assist dentists during various procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and surgeries.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or Epic software.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth operation of the practice.
- Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and inventory management.




- Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and procedures.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant; certification in Dental Assisting is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental software systems such as Tracker.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Experience in pediatrics or orthodontics is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and staff.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Proficiency in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) is an advantage.
