Position:Carpenter Foreperson - Regina Specialized Long Term CareProject Type:BuildingsProject Location:Regina, SKShift:DaySchedule:5 days on, 2 days offAccommodations:Local OnlyGC:GrahamAllied Partner: Technical Workforce Inc.Reference Number: 31564In The Role You WillSupervise and mentor a team of carpenters on-siteEnsure top-quality workmanship and safety standardsHandle interior finishesWork closely with site leadership and trades to maintain project flow and efficiency.Lead construction on projects and ensuring that construction goals are achieved and meet or exceed client expectationsProduce work that results in an exceptional client experienceEnsure projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, and applicable building codes while maintaining high quality standardsWork with the project team to meet milestones and completion dates according to the established project scheduleProvide clear direction to those team members you’re leading, to ensure project targets are achievedAttend and providing input at project meetings and ensuring that information is transmitted to those on your teamAssess the target production goal,
then establishing a team workflow while executing the plan to achieve itSupport staff through coaching and team huddlesEfficiently and safely use the relevant tools and equipment needed to produce the various assemblies for the projectSupport and maintain healthy, happy work environments and corporate cultureMaintain clean, organized, and qualified presentation of work sitesMinimum RequirementsYou are a skilled Carpenter that has experience managing construction teamsHold a valid Carpenter Journeyperson ticket from a recognized provincial training authorityNon-ticketed carpenters must provide proof of hours relevant to the industrial Carpentry tradeCSTS 2020 & WHMIS 2015Experience with concrete formwork is requiredYou have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory/leadership roleYou have an understanding of construction phases and workflowExperience in multiple phases of construction, from foundation work to finishingDescribe and point out safety compliance and regulatory issuesReliable transportation to get to workCandidates must be legally able to work in CanadaWe’re proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and are committed to an inclusive, accessible workplace.
