Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Cheerleading Coach to join our dynamic team to help with the new cheerleading program.
- Plan and deliver engaging cheerleading for beginners lessons.
- Teach proper techniques for tumbling, stunting, jumps, routines, and cheerleading formations
- Foster a positive environment that encourages teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship
- Monitor athletes’ progress, provide constructive feedback, and motivate them to improve
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all training sessions and activities
- Maintain equipment safety checks and ensure the training area is clean and organized
Experience
- Previous experience teaching cheerleading is a must.
- Experience teaching gymnastics or willingness to learn is an asset.
- Ability to effectively communicate instructions to children of diverse ages and skill levels
- Passion for working with kids and fostering a supportive environment
