Become a vital member of the Child and Youth Mental Health team at North Eastern Ontario Family and Children’s Services in Timmins as a Registered Clinician. This full-time role entails providing psychotherapy and assessments for youth and families in need. As a clinician, you will engage with children and adolescents up to 18 years old, delivering counseling, support, and clinical assessments to address their emotional and behavioral needs.
Working effectively within a multi-disciplinary team, your creative and resourceful approaches will help bring positive outcomes for families. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychotherapy and counseling for children and families
- Perform clinical assessments to outline health needs
- Collaborate effectively with other health professionals
- Develop creative solutions for mental health challenges
- Maintain registration with relevant Ontario college bodies Requirements:
- Preferred Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology
- Must be registered with an Ontario professional college
- Bilingual proficiency required in English and French
- Hold a G2 license with willingness to obtain a G license
