Early Childhood Educator (Level 2 or 3) – Sports & Activity Lead (OSC Program)

We are looking for an energetic and passionate Early Childhood Educator (Level 2 or 3) to join our team as a Sports & Activity Lead within our Out-of-School Care (OSC) program, who is also willing to drive company's van.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children and has a strong interest in sports, physical activity, and active play programming.

Position Overview:

The successful candidate will take the lead in planning and implementing sports-based activities and games, and will play a key role in transporting children from one location to other and running a sports-focused program.

Qualifications:

- Valid ECE Level 2 or 3 certification
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- Experience or solid interest in sports, recreation, or physical education
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Police Clearence certificate

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and lead engaging sports activities, games, and group challenges
- Develop and organize a sports camp program within the OSC setting
- Create inclusive,



developmentally appropriate programming for school-age children
- Actively supervise and ensure children’s safety at all times
- Build positive relationships with children and maintain strong communication with families
- Assist with daily routines, transitions, and overall program flow
- Maintain a clean, organized, and structured environment

- Knowledge and understanding of FLIGHT curriculum and its principles, with the ability to incorporate it into daily programming.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Licence/Certification

- Alberta child care certificate (level 2/3) (required)
- Class 5 Driver's Licence (required)
