We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. This role involves guiding children's development through educational activities, fostering social skills, and ensuring their well-being throughout the day. The Daycare Teacher will play a vital part in supporting families and promoting positive early learning experiences.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and structured activities to ensure safety at all times
- Foster a caring and inclusive environment that encourages children’s curiosity and independence
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and needs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and play areas in accordance with health and safety standards
- Support children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities and providing individualized attention
- Observe and document children's developmental milestones to inform future planning and assessments
Skills
- Prior classroom experience working with young children or in early childhood education settings
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
- Robust caregiving skills with a genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and well-being
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and children
- Ability to create engaging, educational, and fun activities tailored to various age groups
- Patience, empathy, and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of children in a dynamic environment
