We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Chiropodist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide expert foot and ankle care, focusing on diagnosing, treating, and preventing a wide range of podiatric conditions. Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ foot and ankle health, including medical history review and physical examinations.
- Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs, incorporating both medical and rehabilitative strategies.
- Administer treatments such as wound care, medication management, orthotic fitting, and minor surgical procedures when necessary.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, especially in acute care settings or hospital environments.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions using electronic health records systems like Epic or Cerner.




- Collect and analyze data related to patient outcomes to support ongoing research initiatives and improve clinical practices.
- Educate patients on foot health, injury prevention, and post-treatment care to promote long-term wellness.

Qualifications

- Proven experience working in hospital settings with a strong understanding of acute care procedures.
- Prior experience in pain management and pediatrics is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and wound care protocols.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional patient care with empathy and professionalism.
- Strong background in research methodologies related to podiatric medicine is a plus.
- Experience working in medical offices or home care environments is advantageous.
