About Tier Construction

Tier Construction is a growing civil construction company specializing in roadworks, excavation, underground utilities, site development, and civil infrastructure projects.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a senior-level Project Manager with a minimum of 10 years of civil construction experience, including a strong background in estimating, project management, and business development.

The ideal candidate will have established relationships with local civil engineering and consulting firms and a strong understanding of working with municipalities throughout the Lower Mainland.

Experience navigating municipal requirements, permitting processes, inspections, specifications, tendering procedures, and working directly with municipal staff and engineering consultants will be considered a significant asset.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage civil construction projects from estimating and pre-construction through completion
- Prepare accurate and competitive civil construction estimates and tenders
- Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and tender documents
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and cost controls
- Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, consultants, and clients
- Manage project schedules and ensure projects remain on track
- Track project progress, productivity, costs, and changes
- Prepare and review change orders,



progress claims, and project documentation
- Work closely with Superintendents, Foremen, engineers, consultants, municipalities, and clients
- Attend pre-construction, project, tender, and coordination meetings
- Build and maintain strong relationships with engineering firms, consultants, developers, municipalities, and industry partners
- Identify upcoming projects, tenders, and business opportunities
- Assist with business development and securing current work
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
