CLASS 1 CRANE & TELEBELT OPERATOR

Marshall Construction is looking for an experienced Class 1 Operator to join our growing Central Alberta team.

YOU’LL DO MORE THAN JUST DRIVE You’ll be operating and supporting construction crews on residential and commercial projects throughout Alberta & neighboring provinces.

Your day may include

- Operating cranes, telebelts and other heavy equipment
- Performing lifting operations and material placement
- Telebelt concrete and material delivery
- Transporting, setting up and securing equipment
- Completing pre-trip/post-trip inspections and equipment checks
- Maintaining accurate logbooks
- Working directly with ground crews, supervisors and site personnel
- Supporting labour/site duties when you’re not operating
- Keeping your equipment, vehicle and work area clean and qualified
- Following all company safety procedures and regulatory requirements

This is a hands-on position. We need someone who is comfortable both behind the wheel and on the job site.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR





YOU’RE A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE:

- Valid Class 1 Driver’s License
- Minimum 3 years’ Class 1 experience
- Manual transmission experience
- Clean driver’s abstract — maximum 3 demerit points
- Strong attendance and reliability
- Excellent awareness of lifting, load handling and site hazards
- Ability to lift 45 kg (100 lbs.)
- Ability to work outdoors in changing weather
- Willingness to work overtime and occasional Saturdays
- Ability to travel to job sites throughout Central Alberta
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Test

EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE:

- Crane or Telebelt operating experience
- Experience with Atlas 33 CS or Hiab 410
- Crane operator certifications/tickets
- Heavy equipment hauling/transport experience
- Construction or concrete forming experience
