Global objective of your future position:

The objective of this position is to support the managers and employees in the optimization of the Human Resources department. It is a generalist position that includes hiring, labour relationships, health & safety, salary, organizational development and coaching with managers. Soft Tex pillows currently have 100 employees.

Description of this position :

- Develop and implement HR strategies to support the company’s growth;
- Plan short term to mid term manpower, including development programs for the employees;




- Manage all the hiring process (from identifying the need to integration of the new employee);
- Develop recruitement strategy in order to attract people to apply for positions;
- Favors fidelity of the employees by creating recognition events;
- Manage preventing health & safety and H&S; claims, including the management of the H&S; committee.
- Advise management team on the best business practices on people’s management;
- Lead the labour relationship management, with the managers;
- Lead salary equity and make internal pay audits;
- Ensure the legality of the processess and policies of the company;
- Participate in continuous improvement projects.

Skills and experience required :

- Have a diploma in HR or experience in the HR field;
- Have 5 years of experience as a HR generalist, asset if it is in the manufacturing industry;
- Be bilingual (french / english);
- Have excellent autonomy;
- Ability to positively influence people you are working with;
- Be creative in the strategies implementation;
- Be a teamworker, work with humility and have a mixed interests between operational and strategic tasks are the 3 key personality traits we are looking for.
