Lead orphan restoration initiatives as the Director at BCER, focusing on oil and gas infrastructure risks in Fort St John or Victoria. Drive strategic liability management and continuous improvement efforts.As the Director of Orphan Restoration, you will oversee financial and environmental risk mitigation related to inactive oil and gas sites. You will lead a team of experts in identifying and addressing operator insolvency, enhancing best practices, and ensuring effective stakeholder collaboration.



This role also involves working with the Finance department to maintain accurate liability reporting and effective decision-making.Key Responsibilities:Provide strategic oversight for orphan treatment planningLead a team of professionals focused on restoration strategiesCollaborate with regulators and stakeholders on best practicesTrack and mitigate financial and environmental risksEnsure timely financial reporting regarding liabilitiesRequirements:Extensive experience in risk management and restorationStrong leadership skills with technical expertiseProven ability to work with cross-functional teamsExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilitiesRelevant education in environmental management or related fieldsTake charge of orphan restoration and drive impactful change with the BCER team.#J-18808-Ljbffr
