We are currently seeking highly motivated Emergency Room Registered Nurses for specialized travel contracts across British Columbia, Newfoundland and Labrador, and the Yukon. We welcome applications from both

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the emergency setting with a focus on rapid response and stabilization. Administer medications and treatments accurately following physician orders while monitoring patient responses.
Document all patient interactions thoroughly using electronic health record systems such as Epic and Cerner. Perform procedures including phlebotomy, wound care, and other emergency interventions as needed. Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and support staff to coordinate patient care plans effectively. Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families during stressful situations. Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards. Assist in triaging incoming patients to prioritize urgent cases efficiently. Manage case documentation for discharge planning or transfer when necessary. Stay current with best practices in nursing care related to trauma, pediatrics, senior care, dementia care, and home health environments. Qualifications
Valid Registered Nurse license in the province of practice. Proven experience working in hospital emergency departments or acute care settings preferred. Proficiency with electronic health records such as Epic and Cerner systems. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration protocols, and laboratory procedures including phlebotomy. Experience in pain management, case management, pediatrics, assisted living, nursing homes, or senior/dementia care is highly desirable. Excellent clinical judgment skills combined with compassionate patient care delivery. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Effective communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and providing explicit patient education.
