Canada. Pay starts from 55 cents per miles. Expected miles per month is 10,000 to 12000.

We are seeking a dynamic and dependable Class 1 Driver to join our transportation team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty commercial vehicles to transport freight efficiently and securely. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation, freight handling, and automotive repair will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Duties

- Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Transport freight across various routes, managing delivery schedules with precision and professionalism.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and other critical systems




- Load and unload freight using forklift or other heavy equipment when necessary, ensuring secure handling of cargo
- Maintain accurate documentation for all shipments, including delivery logs, manifests, and inspection reports
- Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep vehicles in optimal condition
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly

Qualifications

- Valid Class 1 (BC )commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record and atleast one year old either manual or automatic.
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and other industrial machinery
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols in transportation settings
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshoot vehicle issues
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and route planning strategies
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to safety and operational excellence
