The Opportunity

We are looking for a professional and dependable Class 1 Driver to join our team. Enjoy operating new, well-maintained trucks that are assigned to individual drivers, ensuring no truck sharing. This position offers a great work-life balance, with drivers being home almost every weekend. - Operate vehicle safely and responsibly, adhering to all DOT and company safety regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections prior to departure to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
- Manage appropriate cargo documentation and provide necessary paperwork upon the delivery of goods.
- Coordinate the loading and unloading of the truck, verifying cargo and ensuring items are properly stored and secured.
- Maintain contact with dispatcher to provide status updates, clarify special instructions, and notify about delays or issues during transport.

Qualifications

- Valid Class 1/AZ License is required.
- Clean driving abstract for at least 5 years
- 1-3 Years of Flatbed/ Open Deck experience




- Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable with smartphone technology.
- Reliable, flexible, punctual and protected driving behaviors.
- Comfortable reversing in to tight spaces.
- Must be bondable and legally able to work in Canada.
- Valid Passport with ability to travel to US for long haul trips.
