Responsibilities

- Safely operate Class 1 trucks to transport freight to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
- Load and unload freight using pallet jack or using other equipments
- Have to do loading/unloading at Dominos pizza stores and come back to Calgary
- 2 Trips a week 4 days work 3 days off on Sunday,Monday,Thursday .
- Year round fixed schedule and same Stores.
- Must be able to sleep away from home atleast 2 nights a week
- Route will be Calgary,Blairmore,Fernie,Cranbrook,Kimberley,Nelson,Castelgar,Trail Bc and will be paid hourly $28/hr.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, including delivery logs,



inspection reports, and freight manifests.
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to address minor mechanical issues during routes.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate pickups and deliveries efficiently.
- Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation, freight handling, and commercial driving to prevent accidents or injuries.

Qualifications

- Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial driving and heavy equipment operation.
- No more than 3 demerits or negative events on 5 year commercial Abstract
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and securement techniques.
- 2 year Experience required 1 year Mountain driving experience is must.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions clearly.
- Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road.
