About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Class 3 Driver / Service Technician to join our team. This position involves operating a vacuum truck to service septic tanks and portable toilets throughout the South Okanagan. If you enjoy working independently, operating equipment, and providing great customer service, this is a great opportunity to join a stable and essential service industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate a vacuum truck to pump out residential and commercial septic tanks
- Deliver, pick up, clean, and service portable toilets at job sites and events
- Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance on the truck
- Complete service records and required documentation
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers
- Follow all safety and environmental regulations

Requirements

- Valid Class 3 Driver’s License w/ Air Brakes endorsement
- Clean driving record
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions




- Good physical fitness (lifting, climbing, handling hoses)
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work independently and manage routes efficiently
- Previous septic, vacuum truck, or portable sanitation experience is an asset (training available for the right candidate)

Schedule

- 30-45 Hours per week
- Occasional weekends and on-call on a rotating schedule required
