Compass Group Canada is seeking Second Cooks for a temporary full-time contract in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Working in a remote camp environment, these cooks will prepare high-volume meals for clients in the oil and gas, mining, and construction sectors. The ideal candidates are experienced culinary professionals who thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented settings and are committed to food safety and quality.

What You'll Need

- 3+ years proven cooking experience in a restaurant, banquet,



or remote camp
- Food Safety Certification required
- Certificate from a recognized cooking school is an asset
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
- Professional cook and baking experience
- Responsible for breakfast cooking, some baking, composed salads, and sandwich making
- Responsible for ensuring all HACCP logs are filled out correctly
