Responsibilities
- Design, govern and evolve health data interoperability models
- Translating clinical and operational needs into standardized and semantically consistent data models
- Define and maintain FHIR profiles, implementation guides, and conceptual and logical data models
- Align solutions with recognized interoperability standards, including HL7 FHIR, HL7 v2, and CDA
- Supervise the use of clinical terminologies and semantic mapping strategies
- Develop and document data conversion and migration strategies
- Consolidate security, privacy, and compliance requirements for health data
- Plan and carry out the integration of solutions with existing systems, including integration tests
- Contribute to the design of digital health solutions, from the strategic phase to their implementation
- Support the development of interoperability roadmaps and data governance frameworks
- Support teams in the evolution of technological infrastructures and data environments
- Document processes, write functional documentation and maintain associated repositories
- Develop transition plans and ensure knowledge transfer to stakeholders
- Collaborate with institutional partners, regulatory bodies and specialized communities to ensure the quality, consistency and clinical relevance of data exchanges
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering, health informatics or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Have expertise in health interoperability standards, including HL7 FHIR, HL7 v2 and CDA
- Master clinical data modeling and the principles of semantic interoperability
- Use clinical terminologies such as SNOMED CT, LOINC and recognized diagnostic classifications
- Leverage technologies related to validation schemes, application programming interfaces and integration architectures
- Understand cloud environments from an architectural perspective
- Knowledge of the Quebec and Canadian health ecosystem as well as the applicable regulatory frameworks
- Apply the principles of health data governance, information security and clinical information protection
- Contribute to the development of digital health solutions and the evolution of technological services
- Align technology choices with clinical, organizational, and regulatory objectives
- Analyze complex issues and recommend solutions adapted to the needs of stakeholders
- Demonstrate excellent communication, popularization and coaching skills
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams in the context of digital transformation in the healthcare sector
