Position Summary The Belmont Golf Club is hiring for the position of part-time seasonal Clubhouse Operations Team Member.

The Clubhouse Operations Team

Member is responsible for assisting with all Clubhouse operations. This is a wide ranging position where you will be responsible for golf course operations related to tee times and payment, pro shop, cooking and kitchen prep and maintaining the cleanliness of the clubhouse. We are looking for someone that will be available for daytime shifts from September through to November. Highschool students or anyone attending school daily duringdaytimehourswill not be eligible.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist members with booking tee times, answering questions and greeting members and guests
- Check in golfers for their tee time
- Accurately use point of sale system and take payment
- Manage rental of Golf Carts following rental guidelines, maintaining cleanliness and proper parking locations
- Assist with Tournament set up and execution
- Follow all Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Assist with merchandising pro shop items
- Perform daily opening/closing duties as assigned on an ongoing basis
- Assist in the sale and preparation of food and beverage items in accordance with standards laid out by the Operations Manager




- Adhere to standardized recipes and specifications in order to maintain consistency and ensure all standards are met.
- Keep kitchen clean and organized including fridge/freezers, counter and grill
- Ensure dishes, glassware, pots, and/or pans are cleaned effectively and efficiently
- Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the clubhouse
- Possible light gardening/outdoor work required
- Perform additional duties specified by the Operations Manager or Operations Team Lead

Requirements

- Must possess a solid work ethic and be self-motivated
- Maintain a positive attitude, understanding that you are a representation of the golf course
- Effective communication skills to include listening, understanding and responding
- Provide the highest levels of service to members and guests and anticipate needs
- Previous golf course experience is an asset.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts including open and close
- Food Handlers certificate is an asset
