CNC Machining Manager position to provide dedicated leadership to this important part of the operation. The Role
This is a high-impact leadership prospect to take genuine ownership of the CNC department. You’ll lead: People Production priorities Daily operations Scheduling You’ll also have the autonomy to strengthen operations, build your team, and develop the next generation of skilled machinists, programmers, and shop leaders . Build accountability. Coach and develop employees. Recruit and onboard new talent. Develop future shop leaders. Foster a culture of craftsmanship and pride. CNC Operations & Scheduling
Plan daily and weekly production. Assign people and machines. Manage changing priorities. Maintain quality and delivery targets. Optimize machine and labour utilization. Technical & Quality Leadership
Support
3-axis and 5-axis CNC operations . Clarify drawings and specifications. Resolve machining and workflow issues. Provide technical guidance to machinists and programmers. Reinforce high standards of craftsmanship and quality. Department Building & Improvement
Strengthen shop structure and organization. Increase machine utilization. Develop team capabilities. Identify and implement operational improvements. Support the company’s continued growth. Cross‑Functional Leadership
Work closely with: CAM programming Mould making Finishing Quality Senior leadership You’ll communicate priorities across departments and provide operational insight to senior management. What You Bring
Experience
Experience leading people in a:
CNC machine shop Tooling workplace Tool & die operation Mould‑making facility Precision machining environment
Practical knowledge of
3-axis and 5-axis CNC machining . Experience coordinating:
People Machines Job schedules Changing production priorities
Leadership
Technical credibility with machinists and CNC programmers. Fair, engaged leadership style. Strong ability to develop and motivate employees. Genuine pride in developing people and producing high-quality work. Additional Assets
