Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CNC Shear & Brake Operator to join our material processing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in steel and steel related products, with the ability to work efficiently as an individual and as a team member in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Operate CNC shear and brake machines to bend and shape metal sheets with accuracy and consistency

- Set up and calibrate CNC machinery

- Processing, handling, and forming material

- Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics

- Packaging material as required

Qualifications

- Experience (1 - 5 years) operating CNC shear and brake machines

- Knowledge of steel and steel related products

- Familiar with steel measuring tools





- G driver's licence with clean driving record

- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Excellent customer service skills

- Strong work ethic and a team player

Other qualifications

- Forklift driver's licence preferred

- Mechanical shear and brake experience preferred

- Welding and fabrication experience preferred

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
