Coffee Trailer Manager

Canter Coffee is looking for a reliable, motivated Coffee Trailer Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day operations of our Sunderland coffee trailer.

This is a hands-on role for someone who genuinely enjoys working independently, takes initiative and doesn’t need to be micromanaged. You’ll spend much of your time preparing drinks and serving customers, while also keeping the trailer organized, well-stocked and running smoothly.

You don’t need extensive management experience, but you do need to be dependable, resourceful and comfortable taking responsibility for your workspace.

What You’ll Do

- Work regular shifts at the coffee trailer from Wednesday to Sunday
- Prepare our full drink menu accurately and consistently
- Deliver warm, friendly and efficient customer service
- Open and close the trailer independently
- Monitor inventory and anticipate what needs to be stocked or reordered
- Place or communicate supply orders before products run out
- Keep the trailer clean, organized and ready for service
- Complete basic sales tracking and daily operational tasks
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies and opportunities to improve the business
- Help develop seasonal drinks and featured menu ideas
- Assist with training, supporting and overseeing part time team members
- Follow Canter Coffee’s recipes, standards and operating procedures
- Communicate clearly with the owner about inventory, staffing and operational needs

Experience Previous barista, café, hospitality, retail or supervisory experience is an asset, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right person who demonstrates reliability, initiative, strong judgment and a genuine willingness to learn.
