My parents are getting older (68+) and I am caring for three children on my own. I am seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Support Worker to assist with my parents’ daily living needs.

Responsibilities

- Provide support and assistance to individuals in need of senior care, home care, or patient care
- Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication reminders
- Offer emotional support and companionship to clients
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and tidying up
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the well‑being of clients

Skills

- Experience in caregiving, hospice care, nursing home, or similar roles is preferred
- Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
- Physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary

Working Conditions

The Home Support Worker will be working at our home. This position may require some evening and weekend work, as well as occasional off‑site duties, such as accompanying seniors to the hospital.
