Elevate community engagement as an Evening Recreation Leader at Burnaby Golf Courses. This role focuses on implementing diverse recreational activities and ensuring facility security during evening shifts.
As part of the Golf - Operations unit, you’ll prepare individual programs, manage evening operations, and lead golf lessons and tournaments. Your leadership will involve scheduling and supervising both indoor and outdoor activities, while also fostering a positive environment for participants. You'll engage closely with community groups and the public, driving interest and participation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement recreational programs and activities
• Prepare schedules and individual program plans




• Supervise evening operations at the golf course
• Recruit, train, and guide part-time staff
• Enforce safety standards and facility regulations
Requirements:
• Completion of a two-year Community College program
• Sound golf facility experience or equivalent certification
• Valid Driver’s License for British Columbia
• First Aid and CPR C certificates desirable
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities
