As a Recreation Leader 3 in the Youth Services Team, you will deliver programs for youth ages 13 to 18 at the vibrant Youth Centre. This position requires solid leadership and instructional skills in various activities, including sports and creative pastimes. Preference is given to candidates with backgrounds in active recreation or media, ensuring an enriching experience for participants.

Key Responsibilities:



• Provide instruction for social and recreational programs • Ensure safety of youth in drop-in environments • Monitor and correct participant behavior • Promote engagement in program activities • Monitor facility equipment for maintenance needs

Requirements: • Completed Grade 12 with related post-secondary courses • Standard First Aid and CPR - Level C certification • Experience or interest in active recreation programs • Ability to lead and maintain participant relationships • Effective communication with volunteers and staff
