Are you an experienced flooring professional with a passion for sales and customer service?

We are currently seeking an experienced, dependable, motivated Flooring Salesperson to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the flooring industry, excellent product knowledge, and the ability to guide customers through the entire process—from selecting the perfect flooring to ensuring a successful installation.

The applicant will have solid knowledge of flooring products, installation methods, and current industry trends.

Previous flooring sales or flooring industry experience is required

Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s licence is required The Role

As a Floor Covering Commission Salesperson, you will work closely with homeowners, contractors, designers, and other clients to provide knowledgeable flooring solutions and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

· Greet visitors and respond to telephone and in-person requests for information

· Meet with customers to understand their flooring needs and recommend products that best suit their lifestyle, budget, and space

· Sell a wide range of flooring products, including hardwood, laminate, vinyl, carpet, tile, and other floor coverings

· Build strong, long-term customer relationships and generate repeat and referral business

· Prepare accurate quotes and assist customers with product and design selections





· Conduct in-store and in-home consultations to determine the best flooring solution for each customer

· Complete and review measurements to ensure accurate material requirements before placing orders

· Work closely with customers, installers, suppliers, and other team members to ensure project deadlines are met

· Manage multiple customers and projects at various stages while maintaining excellent attention to detail

Qualifications

· Previous flooring sales or flooring industry experience is required

· Professional, dependable, and customer-focused

· Experience preparing detailed estimates, quotes, and orders

· Ability to accurately measure rooms and calculate material requirements

· Strong attention to detail, organized, with excellent time-management skills

· Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team

· Physically able to walk through job sites and inspect flooring areas when required

· Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s licence are required
