Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial facilities in Edmonton. The ideal candidate will ensure all areas are kept in excellent condition, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff.

This position involves evening cleaning shifts at different sites across the city, so applicants must have their own reliable vehicle.

Duties

- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors and surfaces
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to maintain hygiene standards
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures as required
- Dispose of trash and recycling appropriately
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper when needed
- Report maintenance issues or damages to management
- Follow safety procedures and cleaning protocols to prevent accidents
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively

Qualifications




- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is an asset but not required
- WHMIS certification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to travel between sites when needed
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good physical stamina for lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable and punctual with a solid work ethic

Schedule

- Part-time position
- Most shifts occur in the evening after business hours
- Typical shifts range from 2 to 4 hours depending on the site
- Some days may involve cleaning multiple sites in one shift
- Current availability required for Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
