Join Our Team!

We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our growing team. In this role, you will contribute to a variety of commercial construction projects by performing rough and finish carpentry, supporting site operations, maintaining quality standards, and helping ensure protected and productive job sites.

What You'll Do

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to complete carpentry work accurately and efficiently.
- Perform rough carpentry activities including framing, formwork, hoarding, backing, floor systems, walls, roof structures, and temporary site access installations.
- Complete finish carpentry work such as installing doors, hardware, trim, cabinetry, molding, architectural finishes, wall coverings, flooring, and specialty fixtures.




- Assist with construction, renovation, and demolition activities on commercial, light industrial, and multi-family projects.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and effectively.
- Support site quality control processes by verifying layouts, elevations, rough openings, and completed work against drawings and specifications.
- Maintain organized work areas and contribute to daily site clean-up and material management.
- Follow all safety procedures, complete Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHAs), and maintain compliance with OH&S; regulations and company policies.

Working Conditions

- Physically demanding work involving lifting, carrying, bending, climbing, kneeling, and repetitive tasks.
- Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor environments throughout all seasons.
- Must be able to pass a 50 lb Fitness to Work assessment.
- Must have reliable transportation to travel to assigned job sites.
- Must be willing and able to work on out-of-town projects as required.
- Appropriate PPE must be worn and maintained in accordance with company policies and OH&S; regulations.
- Weekend work may be required depending on project schedules.
- Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring





- Journeyman Carpenter or Red Seal Carpenter certification, or equivalent carpentry experience.
- Minimum 4 years of carpentry experience in commercial construction.
- Experience with commercial construction, renovations, structural work, and tenant improvement projects.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and layouts.
- Knowledge of carpentry methods, construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a construction team.
- WHMIS 2015 and CSTS 2020 certifications required.
- Additional safety certifications such as First Aid, Fall Protection, Aerial Work Platform, Telehandler, or other construction-related training are considered assets.
- Basic computer skills, including email and digital documentation, are an asset.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
