Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors to maintain a spotless environment
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste according to established procedures
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure continuous availability
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning tasks to the supervisor promptly
- Adhere to company policies on cleaning standards, health regulations, and environmental practices
Skills
- Prior custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly preferred
- Solid knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality and consistency in cleanliness
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Familiarity with safety procedures related to chemical handling and sanitation practices
