Project Manager: Commercial Electrical Projects

Location: Edmonton, AB

Compensation: $110 000 – $140 000 per year (hourly pay)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Position Overview:

AltaPro Electric is currently seeking a full-time Project Manager to join our growing team. This position is ideal for an experienced Project Manager who excels in project coordination, budgeting, and stakeholder communication. You’ll be responsible for managing multiple commercial electrical projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

· Analyze and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and engineered plans

· Manage multiple projects simultaneously in an efficient and cost-effective manner

· Create and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and clients

· Maintain organized and accurate project files and documentation

· Establish and monitor project schedules,



review site progress with foremen and stakeholders

· Develop project plans for manpower, equipment, and material needs

· Implement cost control strategies and planning to meet financial targets

· Oversee and organize project purchasing in a timely and efficient manner

· Coordinate and manage project communications with proper document control

· Track and maintain expenses related to materials and labor

· Follow up on stakeholder requests, questions, and concerns in a timely manner

Qualifications:

· 5+ years of experience as a Journeyperson Electrician

· 3+ years of experience in Commercial Electrical Project Management

· Strong knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC), Alberta Building Code (ABC), and industry standards

· Experience in Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) projects is an asset

· Experience in Health Care electrical installations is an asset

· Experience with Renewable Energy Solar PV systems is an asset
