Capital Property Management is a leading commercial property management firm in the Manitoba market and is currently seeking a Property Accountant to support our growing team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the full-cycle accounting of a portfolio of commercial properties. 3-5 years of accounting experience is required. Experience with Yardi property management software is considered an asset.
Duties to include, but are not limited to:
- Begin month billing of rent charges and processing deposits
- TIPP and mortgage payments
- Monthly cash distributions to owners
- GST returns
- Bank Reconciliations
- Month-end journal entries
- Printing and reviewing monthly financial statements
- Processing year-end costs reconciliations
- Preparing year-end files for auditors
Job Type: Full time Pay: $45,000.00-$58,000.00 per year
