Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to deliver goods efficiently across designated routes. This role requires a strong focus on safety, punctuality, and professionalism to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with all transportation regulations.

Must have a valid Class 1 driver license and clean driver's abstract. Written and verbal English highly valued. Busy season is September through March annually.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate heavy-duty trucks to transport goods to various locations within scheduled timeframes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with company policies
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securement of items during transit
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery records
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, delays, or issues encountered during routes
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations

Skills





- Proven experience driving large commercial vehicles with a clean driving record
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for loading and unloading cargo
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety standards, and transportation regulations
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
- Good communication skills for coordinating with dispatch and clients
- Physical stamina and endurance for long hours on the road

MECHANIC SKILLS AN ASSET and mechanic work will be paid at a different pay rate. Minimum 3+ years of repair experience required. Role includes regular maintenance on brakes, engine, and transmission; inspect, test, repair and replace mechanical units; be able to perform major and minor repairs, overhauls and servicing. This position offers an chance for dedicated drivers to contribute to a reputable logistics team while ensuring safe and timely deliveries.

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
