As a Maintenance Worker within KIDO, your responsibilities include the maintenance and repair of both vehicles and various building systems. This hands-on role prioritizes safety and requires a broad skill set, including plumbing, electrical, and basic carpentry knowledge. You will also require strong communication skills to facilitate teamwork with fellow KIDO staff to address facility needs.

Key Responsibilities:



• Oversee vehicle maintenance and inspections • Execute basic repairs on plumbing and electrical systems • Manage seasonal snow removal and safety upkeep • Organize and maintain inventory of repair equipment • Collaborate with team members on facility needs

Requirements: • Minimum five years of practical maintenance experience • Ability in various trade areas, especially plumbing and carpentry • Proficient communication skills, including Anishininiimowin • Must possess a valid Ontario Driver's License • Physical capability to lift weights and adapt to varying schedules
