Join Babcock Canada as a Technical Writer on a 6-month contract, based in Ottawa, Victoria, or Halifax. Your role will focus on crafting explicit and concise technical documents vital for defense initiatives.
As a Technical Writer, you will collaborate across teams to develop high-quality documentation supporting the Marine & Mission Systems Department. We're looking for candidates with at least three years of experience in technical writing and editing and a relevant educational background. Your contributions will directly enhance the effectiveness of essential defense strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Edit and proofread various technical documents for clarity • Coordinate the production of contract-related documents • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate information • Manage internal document tracking and approval processes • Assist in creating proposals and formal reports for projects
Requirements: • Degree or diploma in Technical Writing or related field • Minimum three years of professional writing experience • Strong oral and written communication skills • Expertise in MS Word and other relevant software • Eligibility for security clearance with the Canadian government
