Community-Based Kinesiologist (Casual, Mobile Role)

Sahara Rehab Consulting Ltd. is seeking an experienced community-based Kinesiologist to join our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team on a casual, fixed-term (12‑month) contract. This role is ideal for a self‑directed clinician who thrives in mobile practice and enjoys working independently while contributing to high-quality client care.

About the Role

This is a mobile position, that requiring travel throughout Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley to provide treatment in clients’ homes, workplaces, or local municipal community centres (gym or pool settings). When providing treatment in municipal facilities, clinicians must register directly with each municipality.

You will work with a diverse caseload involving:

- Brain injury
- Chronic pain
- Soft tissue and orthopedic injuries
- Acute trauma
- Mental health–related functional limitations

Our team provides community-based OT, KIN, RA, and RCC rehabilitation services across Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. Treatment is delivered in real-world environments, so reliable travel is essential. Learn more about us at www.sahararehab.com.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology or Human Kinetics from a recognized university
- Registered and in good standing with BCAK




- Minimum one year of clinical work experience as a Kinesiologist
- Experience with Return-to-Work planning
- Valid BC driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Willingness to travel throughout Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley
- Must hold a municipal business licence in the city where you are based
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
- Ability to register as a health care provider with fee payers and local municipalities
- Comfortable working independently in a mobile, community-based model

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (OT, PT, and other clinicians) regarding treatment planning and client progression
- Develop, instruct, and supervise safe and effective therapeutic exercise programs
- Support clients in building confidence and independence in their rehabilitation and return-to-work goals
- Provide treatment in clients’ homes, third‑party gym facilities, or municipal recreation centres
- Maintain explicit, timely clinical documentation
